They do this by trying to get important Medicare information out of you. They do this by calling and pretending to be some authority figure that would actually need this information. They are not this kind of figure of course, but you might be willing to give them this information if you believed that they were. This is the way in which they are able to trick plenty of people into giving them the information they are after. It is a vile scam that traps people in its web all the time. In order to make sure you are avoiding falling into this trap, just make sure that you never give out any personal information on the phone to people you do not know.
